Karen F. Riley lives in rural Plumsted Township with her husband and three children. She has been professionally freelance writing for over 30 years. Whispers in the Pines: The Secrets of Colliers Mills is her debut book. Researching and writing this book gave Karen a chance to indulge in one of her passions: learning more about nature. Serving on her local environmental commission has heightened her awareness of protecting our greatest resources for future generations.

Glenn Foster is the multi-award winning senior graphic designer and photographer at Ocean County College. He is as comfortable on a keyboard as he is behind the lens, but admits that these ventures have taken him away from his first love: illustrations. Having the opportunity to create pen and ink drawings of an area he has hiked in several times, has in essence, brought his career full circle.
